The Project INSIGHT was represented at the Event ´Safe and Sustainable by Design – Networking of Horizon Europe Projects’. The event was organised by the European Commission Directorate-General For Research and Innovation and the European Joint Research Centre (JRC). The Networking Event took place on the 20th March 2026 at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre (CCaB) in Brussels.
The event provided the excellent opportunity to exchange with a multitude of other EU-funded projects working in the field of Safe and Sustainable by Design. The event was kicked-off by a welcome by Carsten SCHIERENBECK, (DG RTD) and. Silke OBST (HADEA), followed by interesting presentations of Overarching European Initiatives.
INSIGHT was represented by Steffi Friedrichs and Anna Pohl from INSIGHT Partner AcumenIST and Thomas Exner from INSIGHT Partner 7P9. In a 5-min pitch, the key objectives and outcomes were presented by Anna Pohl. The pitch included a brief overview of the whole INSIGHT Consortium and the respective expertise in the Project. The strong collaboration with the projects CHIASMA and PINK was highlighted and potential pathways towards future collaborations were discussed. The session included pitch-presentations by the PARC toolbox, CHIASMA, SSbD4CheM, ToxBox, CheMatSustain, SUNRISE, INTEGRANO and the SSbD Hub.
